If you’ve made it this far, you have probably already figured out I am a food enthusiast eating my way through life. MakSnacks was started by me, Makenzi Brown, and features the inside scoop on all my foodie adventures.

A Little About Makenzi & MakSnacks

I’m a girl on a mission, a mission to eat the best food I can find. I started sharing my foodie adventure a couple years ago and have loved every moment of it. Having lived in San Francisco for the past several years I have been exposed to the ever growing food scene. My free time revolves around each new restaurant, cafe, or food truck I want to try. Thankfully, I’ve got a great group of friends who don’t mind sharing these adventures with me, and who occasionally make me workout so I can continue munching on delicious foods.

I found myself snapping pictures of everything I was eating, which lead me to starting my foodie Instagram account @MakSnacks. This has not only been a fantastic way for me to give reason to my food addiction, but has also allowed me to help provide tips and tricks to navigating the San Francisco food scene.

With this blog my goal is to share about my food adventures by diving into the details on where I’ve been, what I’ve eaten, and why I loved it (or occasionally why not). I love food, and now I get to share my obsession with you!

    Hey I love your Instagrams and this is my first visit to your blog – it’s rad! I went to the Palm House opening and totally loved their playful approach to cocktails (and food too) – agreed! I also was the program director for eat drink SF for the first few years so it made me happy to see that post 🙂

    Have you been to Trou Normand lately? Their cocktails are also pretty on point. They have a gorgeous outdoor space in the back that’s really nice for brunch (which is kind of under the radar.) They use some of their famed charcuterie in eggy creations too. Good morning to your body, right?

    I do their PR, so let me know if you’d like to try it out while the weather is still summery.

      I hope your week is going well! Palm House is def one of my favorites! I’d love to pick your brain sometime about Eat Drink SF. I absolutely LOVED that event and would love to hear more about the behind the scenes work.
      Trou Normand is one I’ve never been to! I just checked out their website and it looks delicious. I would be happy to try and out and do some media coverage for it. Please feel free to reach out to me via my email (maksnackssf@gmail.com) to discuss further.
